Project JEDI Wiki Email Setup Question

Christian does your Project JEDI Wiki account notify you when I post to your talk page like this? – Conrad T. Pino 03:49, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

ChristianWimmer 10:16, 3 February 2010 (UTC): Yes, I get a notification once and no more until I visit it.

Conrad T. Pino 16:09, 3 February 2010 (UTC): That is more than sufficient. Thank you! I'll use this feature when editing pages heavily to let you know when stable and ready for view.

Collaboration Tools

I've stopped keeping paper notes and find emails and newsgroups difficult to reorganize as knowledge grows hence my wiki philia.

I guess Project JEDI in general used email, newsgroups, and Issue Trakker is primary collaboration tools. I appreciate you've choosen to use the Wiki but I value your time and honor your choice to use whatever tool is convenient. I find MediaWiki editing soothing and welcome requests to edit on your behalf.

Now that you've played with MediaWiki for for Project JEDI collaboration, what are your thoughts about it?

Thanks again. – Conrad T. Pino 23:31, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

ChristianWimmer 23:50, 3 February 2010 (UTC): I had another wiki in usage some time ago. I haven't used it so my skills degraded and I had to recall them. I welcome tools that enhance my skills and help to do the work easier. As you maybe have experienced I tend to easy and comprehensible documentation and implemenation of whathever comes. I like simplicity because it is harder to accomplish than complexity (even in English).
