Which HKey

Im working with software that might have a differnt Shell running depending on the current login, So getting the shell name form HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE doesn't work because it is set via HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

Should this be marked as an issue somewhere???

if this is not the place to discuss this, just let me know where to go and i ll go there :) --DarkAxi0m 04:23, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

You're right, that's definitively an issue. Custom shells have been supported since at least winNT4. The usual place to report issue is to use the JEDI issuetracker. More info on how to do this on page IssueTracker. However, discussions and contributions are welcome on this wiki. If you want to link issue report here, you can use the following syntax: Issue:5316. --User:Outchy 10:31, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
