Summary

Extracts the year from a DateTime.

Pascal

 function YearOfDate(const DateTime: TDateTime): Integer;

Parameters

Parameters	Description
const DateTime: TDateTime	The DateTime from which to extract the year.

Return Value

The year of the specified DateTime.

Description

YearOfDate returns the year of the specified DateTime. For example: if D is assumed to be StrToDateTime('2/17/2000 12:37:21 PM'); then YearOfDate(D) returns 2000.
