Summary

Releases ownership of the critical section.

 public procedure Leave;

Description

The Release method releases ownership of the critical section previously acquired by a call to the Enter method. After a call to Release the critical section is free to be acquired by a different thread. If you called Enter multiple times the critical section will not be released until the last, balancing call to Release.

Notes

If you call Release while you don't currently own the critical section, the state of the critical section object becomes corrupted and threads waiting for ownership may be blocked forever.
