Summary

Returns information about a file.

Pascal

 function GetStandardFileInfo(const FileName: string): TWin32FileAttributeData;

Parameters

Parameters	Description
const FileName: string	Fully qualified name of the file for which to retrieve information.

Return Value

If the function succeeds it returns a TWin32FileAttributeData record with information about the file. The Platform SDK contains documentation for this record. If the function fails, for example because it can't find the file, it raises an EFileUtilsError exception.

Description

GetStandardFileInfo returns standard information about the specified file such as creation time, filesize and attributes.
