Summary

AnsiSameText compares two strings.

Parameters

Parameters	Description
S1	First string to compare.
S2	Second string to compare.

Return Value

AnsiSameText returns 0 (CSTR_EQUAL) if the two strings match.

Description

AnsiSameText compares the two supplied ANSI strings and returns whether or not they are identical. AnsiSameText is case insensitive and uses the users local settings for comparisation. For more information please refer to the Windows API CompareString function.
