Summary

Returns the date/time that the file was last accessed.

Parameters

Parameters Description
const FileName: string The name of the file for which to retrieve the time of last access.


Return Value

The date/time the file was last accessed. On failure the function raises an exception.


Description

GetFileLastAccess returns the date/time that the specified file was last accessed. The return value is a UTC based TFileTime value which can be converted to the familiar TDateTime by using the FileTimeToDateTime function.
